Wig Worland
Wig Worland was described as a “legend” by the late artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear, Virgil Abloh. He is a subculture legend with industry legitimacy.
Since 2012, Wig has shaped the overall look of the Rapha brand studio photography output, working alongside the many esteemed Art Directors and Creatives who have passed through the organisation during that time.
His previous clients include Palace, Rapha, Carhartt, Nike Futebol, Nike SB, New Balance, Pointer Footwear, adidas, Belstaff, Christopher Raeburn, The Tate, NatWest, Yinka Shonibare CBE, Dennis Publishing, Sony Headphones, Rouleur, Mondial, Free, and Grey.
Wig is also considered a skateboarding legend due to his prolific contribution to capturing its culture in magazine titles worldwide as both a photo editor and a contributor throughout the '90s and '00s skateboard boom.
His work was featured in No Comply at Somerset House London in 2021 and Skateboard at the Design Museum in 2024; the fourth issue of the Los Angeles skateboard magazine Golden Hour was dedicated to him and his work, and he is a collaborator in the forthcoming Read and Destroy Archive retrospective book.
Wig Worland is a long-time collaborator and partner of Ideas Make Manifestos and is available as a commercial photographer specialising in studio shoots for campaigns, lookbooks and eCommerce.
